Ferrarini & Benelli, which celebrates its 50th anniversary this year, is growing (especially abroad) thanks to its constant technological innovation, the know-how acquired and its ability to produce surface treatments that are effective also on the most innovative materials used in the packaging sector.
The labels in vinyl, acetate, polyester, polypropylene, aluminium foil, etc contain additives, lubricants, antistatic materials and plasticisers which migrate to surface during storage thus decreasing wettability at the time of printing. This raises the need to apply a corona treatment station on the printing lines, to thereby ensure a good ink anchorage.
ET 98 with single phase generator
Specific Corona treatment station for labels – narrow web – equipped with ceramic electrodes that allow to treat all the materials, conductive and not conductive. At Labelexpo Europe, Ferrarini & Benelli will showcase ET 98 with single phase generator.
ET 98 is built with stainless materials. The conductive ceramic cover on the roller gives better frictional characteristics. The easy-open cartridge for the electrodes facilitates threading and permits a quick removal for maintenance. Multiple ceramic electrodes for high performance.
Corona treatment for labels is matched with single phase generator with digital technology. User-friendly symbology and multilingual communication display assure clear and simple operability. The power controller detects the speed of the roller and progressively adjusts the power depending on the speed. It is also available with remote control panel or with Profibus or Profinet remote control system.
The GTS MX single phase generator for corona treatment is available in two options:
- stand alone model with IP43-grade protection
- or integrated model with IP20-grade protection.
